Wayne and Jessica Prussa met in Southern California and have been married for 12 years. In the spring of 2013, God opened doors for the couple to move to Atkinson, Nebraska (Wayne’s hometown). Always up for a good adventure they packed their belongings and, with their two frightened cats, made the 32 hour trek from Huntington Beach, California.

As if driving the biggest U-haul they could rent across the Rockies wasn’t adventure enough, God gave them the vision and burden to plant a new church in Atkinson. Through tears, laughter, uncertainty, and trust, the vision for Vintage Church began to grow. Wayne and Jessica have a passion to see broken people and relationships restored to what God has always desired them to be.

Starting as a small group meeting in Wayne and Jessica's living room, Vintage Church was born. As their group began to outgrow the space, God was faithful to provide a building to meet in. As Vintage Church continues to grow, come join us in the journey.

God's mission is our mission. Since the fall of man it has been God's mission to redeem humanity through Jesus Christ. We are just joining him in this mission.

Our vision is to see Jesus restore and repurpose lives, relationships and communities.

We love old vintage furnature. It has dust, scratches, and has lost its purpose until it is restored and made alive again. In the same way, Jesus wants to restore and repurpose our lives.

Vintage church is all about loving Jesus and loving people. We love to dig into the Bible and apply God's truths to our lives today.

We are kid and family-friendly, helping parents become the primary spiritual influence in their children's lives.

Currently we meet on Wednesday nights at 6:30 in Wayne and Jessica's living room. We share a meal, hang out and encourage each other to represent Jesus at work, in our homes and in our relationships.

We are a part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination.
